Zach Galifianakis and Brad Pitt are reportedly in talks for the lead roles in this upcoming feature film titled as, ‘Dickens vs. Andersen’. Being taken up under Lord Miller, a known production company founded by Phil Lord – Chris Miller, the film will showcase the “clumsy and awkward Hans Christian Andersen who invites himself over to the country home of his idol, Charles Dickens – and overstays his welcome”. Lord Miller will be joined by Lit Entertainment Group, another production company, for the development of the upcoming feature film. Zach Galifianakis is a known comedian and actor whose works include, ‘Hangover’ film series in which he played the role of Alan, ‘Masterminds’ which premiered in 2016, ‘The Campaign’ which was directed by Jay Roach, ‘Keeping Up with the Joneses’ an action comedy and more. Brad Pitt is a popular actor whose works include, ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood’ which premiered in 2019, ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ which starred George Clooney and more, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ which was directed by David Fincher and ‘Inglourious Basterds’ which was directed by Quentin Tarantino, to name a few. For the upcoming film, Zach Galifianakis will possibly don the role of Hans Christian Andersen while Brad Pitt will be performing as Charles Dickens. Hans Christian Andersen was a Danish author who is known for his works, ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘The Ugly Duckling’, ‘The Princess and the Pea’ and more. Charles Dickens was another reputed author who played a major role during the Victorian Age of English Literature.
