What is the storyline of Deadwind?
The series Deadwind focuses on Sofia Karppi. She joins the Helsinki Police Department as a homicide detective. While taking care of her husband and two kids, she does her duty at the financial crime unit. She’s assisted by detective Sakari Nurmi.
The authorities at the Helsinki Police Dept find women’s clothes at a construction site. Eventually, they discover that the clothes belong to a woman, Anna Bergdahl, who’s now dead. Anna’s husband Usko Bergdahl is also shocked to hear the news of her death.
Karppi and Nurmi start their investigation and try to uncover what led to Anna’s death.
What was the premiere schedule of the previous seasons of Deadwind?
Deadwind season 1 aired on March 14, 2018 and concluded on May 30, 2018. Later, the show came back for two more seasons. The latest season aired on October 31 and ended on December 19, 2022.
Is “Deadwind” worth watching?
While grimly realistic, the series Deadwind also provides the straightforward joy of seeing astute experts order a disorganized world, one case at a time. Stream away and take pleasure if you’re a fan of worldwide criminal dramas. I was captivated right away; it gets a little dark in spots, but if you’re seeking that kind of drama, this is a good choice. The main characters, Karppi and Nurmi, are flawed, but their relationship works on many levels despite that. Do watch it!
