In the last sequels of the movie, Blake, played by Logan, was fighting his father regarding the test. He falls in love with Ellie Harper, and both do not study for the exam. However, Blake passes the exams, and Ellie fails in it. Blake is seen reaching out to his father to free Ellie from getting executed, but he refuses. On the final exam day, Blake purposely fails the test to check his father’s loyalty. Blake’s report is exchanged with that genius Laina’s. In the escapades series, Laina finds out about the score tampering scam and wrongful deaths of many students. Blake is seen trying to rescue Laina and the other failed students but ends up in a large elevator. When Blake regains his consciousness from a sleeping drug, he sees a blonde girl working who turns out to be Ellie. In 2018 the release of The thing: New World Order was announced, and Paul premiered it on October 17.
The new series is expected to follow a similar storyline and discover what adventures await next for Blake.
