Ingobernable, a Mexican series is one such show that has a lot of twists, suspense and mystery. If you haven’t watched it yet, you must. The show was so good that fans have been curious to know if there will be a third season of Ingobernable although it’s been quite a few years since we last heard of anything from Netflix or the showrunners. To be exact, it’s not known if there will be even a third season but fans remain hopeful to this very day.
What is Ingobernable about?
The Netflix show is directed by Argos Pedro Ibarra along with Jose Luis Garcia, produced by Argos Comunicación and Kate del Castillo as its executive producer who also stars in the show.
The series follows the story of Emilia Urquiza, the wife of Mexico’s president and the First Lady of Mexico with a vision to create peace for the nation but things don’t go too well as many unseen obstacles are awaiting and a big scandal breaks out. Emilia slowly begins to lose trust in her spouse, Deigo Nava; she then finds herself at a point where she’ll have to face the challenges to reveal the truth.
Ingobernable to return for Season 3?
Ingobernable has two seasons so far with 27 episodes in total. The first season premiered on March 24, 2017, with 15 episodes and the second season was released on September 14, 2018, with 12 episodes. If a third season happens, it will consist of 12 episodes. Given the series popularity, Netflix might revive the show and if we look at the ratings, the series scored 7.1/10 and 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes which is quite good. However, until Netflix officially gives the green signal for a third instalment, we can’t be too sure.
