Following its premiere, ‘Trenchez’ enticed its viewers with a plot surrounding an intense gang war that is caused when a man seeks revenge on the murder of his brother due to gang violence. With his accomplices, the protagonist soon work a scheme to execute a home invasion robbery that gets interrupted by a neighborhood bully who tries to take their profits. Their decision for violence thereby results in unexpected and dangerous consequences that could get them in more trouble than they anticipated. Supposedly starring Ariel Brown, Ratoya Banks and Lawrence Adams, this crime drama film featured the debut of several new artists.
‘Trenchez’ was directed and produced by Dennis Conrad. As per the rumors, Dennis Conrad and his crew are already working on a sequel for the movie that will showcase the events that follow the conclusion for the first film. Artists Kara Sullivan and April Johnson will most likely join the crew for the sequel to ‘Trenchez’ titled, ‘Trenchez’ (Part 2). ‘Trenchez’ (Part 2) is reportedly commencing its production this month with Los Angeles serving as the primary location for the film.
Plot for ‘Trenchez’ (Part 2)
The plot for the upcoming sequel will focus on Chrissy and Toya, the nieces of Dottie and cousins to Delvin and Desiree. When the siblings arrive at Los Angeles, to attend Dottis’ 40th birthday and to help Desiree take care of some unfinished business, (following her imprisonment). Dotti who is referred by those close to her as “Miss Lucky” plans to celebrate her 40th Birthday in a unique manner and as a result, decides to have a poker game with friends and famous gamblers. When Dotti appears to be ahead on her winnings, the mood of the party begins to change with Toya sensing something wrong with the aura. This makes her text “Lil E”, a friend of the family to look out for them. Later, when CK, one of the gamblers and a gang member, loses all his money, he decides to sit around and watch the game instead of leaving. When he finnaly leaves, he does so with immense anger. Unbeknownst to Dotti and the others, the gang member has something sinister in mind but CK does not know that a surprise awaits him on the other side.
Though he cast list has not been announced, Ariel Brown might make an appearance as Desiree in this upcoming sequel. With the production for the movie commencing shortly, ‘Trenchez’ (Part 2) can be expected to release soon.
