Minions is an American computer-animated comedy-drama, mystic film, which was released on July 1, 2022. The movie is directed by Kyle Balda, with Brad Abelson and Jonathan del Val as co-directors.
The film sees the return of Steve Carell as Gru, and Pierre Coffin as the Minions, along with Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, RZA, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews, and Alan Arkin.
Produced by Illumination in association with Chris Meledandri, Janet Healy and Chris Renaud, the series is a continuation of the Despicable Me franchise.
Minions 2: The Rise of Gru: Release Date
Originally, Minions: The Rise of Gru was planned for public release on July 3, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic protocols, the date of release was postponed. Also, after the first wave of the pandemic, it was scheduled for July 2, 2021, but again due to the second wave, it got cancelled. Minions: Ratings
Minions have earned tons of positive reviews from critics. Also, the movie managed to score decent ratings on all the review aggregator websites.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film secured a 55% Tomato score and 49 % audience approval ratings, whereas, on IMDb, this movie holds a rating of 6.4 out of 10.

The official voice-over artist list for season 2 hasn’t been released yet. However, we can expect to hear the same voice of the lead cast, including Gru, Kevin, Bob and others.

Minions: The Rise of Gru was announced to be streamed on NBCUniversal’s Peacock for four months of its theatrical release, as part of an 18-month deal. As per the leaks, after four months of its release, the film would then move to Netflix for the next 10 months, before retreating to Peacock for the last four months.
