A dramatic tragedy-based feature film is shown to be in the works by the Boston-based director and producer, Joey R. Marino. As per the American filmmaker’s own website, it is revealed that the 77-year old American actor, Vincent Pastore is all set to play the role of Benny alongside his co-star American actor and former professional boxer, Jack O Halloran, who has reportedly been confirmed to have signed on with this ongoing thriller flick. Stated as the independent director’s latest endeavor that is in pre-production, fans of the starrers and filmmaker look to a potential release date when they could see the movie in all its glory.
From the filmmaker’s website, the description of the film states that it follows the unfortunate and mishandled journey of Michael. The protagonist has been brought up in the strict environment of the Italian sphere in the east side of the Massachusetts City, Boston. Further, the director reveals.
“After a turbulent start in life, he successfully left his old ways and became a successful businessman with a loving large young family. Until his young son, LITTLE MIKEY, is mistakenly murdered by hitmen. MICHAEL must decide whether to take action and potentially lose everything or do nothing. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?”
As the film is based in Boston, the creator reveals that it has been shot in real-life locations of the American city.
The murder induced action flick has been listed as a project that is still in production at the moment alongside fewer details about the movie’s release date and relevant details. Fans however can visit the director’s website to see the film’s poster in full resolution. The creative has a red overlay on its entirety that provides it a seriously gritty look, perfect in capturing the mafia natured environmental settings of the action project. On the top of the poster, we see a man looking down as he is surrounded by numerous graves in the background, presumably Michael visiting the grave of his dead son, Little Mikey, after whom the film has been named after. As the viewers move down to the image, they are exposed to a symbol, which bears a significant resemblance to the cover art of Orazio Strano’s story, “La morte e il milliardario” However, there are a few additions to this graphic, specifically two arms on either side, one holding a gavel and the other a gun.
Fans are hopeful to see this flick come to life in the near future.
