It was revealed that Clark Gable had a secret child with Loretta Young and that was Judy Lewis who was assumed to be the adopted child of Young.

As per NPR, Young left for overseas during that time and came to Los Angeles where she gave birth to her child. However, the child was given under the care of a home run by nuns. She got back Lewis making it seem like an adoption.
