An official release date for The Crown season 6 hasn’t been confirmed. However, the filming for season four wrapped before the UK went into lockdown in late March 2020. Season 4 is said to release later this year. Season five and season six are yet to start filming. According to some sources, season 5 won’t premiere until 2022 as the production is said to begin in June. If this is so, season 6 will start filming in 2022, meaning a premiere in 2023.
