There are numerous movies in line waiting for its production to commence this year. Among which we have the Amazon MGM Studios thriller, Mercy as well. This upcoming thriller is going to be directorial work of Timur Bekmambetov and is a sci-fi thriller you may be looking for.
Serving as the writer for the movie is Marco van Belle. While taking up the role of the producers for the film are Robert Amidon, Majd Nassif and Charles Roven. The production company behind the movie is Amazon MGM Studios as mentioned before.
Meanwhile, if we talk about the plot of the upcoming sci-fi thriller then it’s going to be a story about a detective who has some serious accusations on him of committing a crime. However, he is determined to prove himself innocent and free himself from the allegations.

Despite numerous stars being cast for the arriving thriller Mercy. The eyes are surely going to be on boxer turned actress Kali Reis. As after her worthy to watch performance in True Detective: Night Country. She is all set to be seen in yet another prominent role in Mercy.
Currently nothing about her character in the thriller has been revealed though but may came out as filming begins. Not to miss, alongside Kali, we have Chris Pratt in the lead role in Mercy playing the role of the detective hopefully. Also, we would see Rebecca Ferguson and Annabelle Wallis to appear in the movie with Pratt.
Surely, we will have many other cast announced later on as well. As we are going to have the movie to begin its filming this spring. Nothing much is revealed about the movie in terms of its creative team too but it’s likely to hit the big screen on 15th August in 2025.
