‘Ice Fall’ is an upcoming feature film which is rumored to have Joel Kinnaman and Cara Jade Myers among others in its cast. Centered on a game warden, the film follows him as he gets hold of a poacher. Except, it is later revealed that the poacher is in search of a plane which is said to possess millions of dollars. However, there is only one problem, the said plane has crashed into a frozen lake. The film is supposedly a direction under Stefan Ruzowitzky and is said to have George Mahaffey as its writer.
Stefan Ruzowitzky’s ‘Barbarians’ season 2 premiered in 2022 and was met with generally positive reviews. ‘Ice Fall’ appears to be his first project in 2024 and the film is seemingly in its pre- production stage. Some of the past works of Stefan Ruzowitzky are ‘Hexe Lilli: Der Drache und das magische Buch’ which premiered in 2009, ‘Narcissus and Goldmund’ a drama film and ‘8 Days’ a miniseries which premiered in 2019. George Mahaffey, the writer for the upcoming feature film is an emerging artist.
‘Ice Fall,’ Predicted to Commence its Filming Soon
Though official updates are yet to be made on the matter, there is a good chance that ‘Ice Fall’ will commence its filming soon. Though the roles played by Joel Kinnaman and Cara Jade Myers are not known, it is possible that their characters are significant to the plotline. Joel Kinnaman recently starred in ‘Silent Night’ in the role of ‘Brian Godlock’. His other recent on-screen appearances include ‘The Driver’ in ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ another 2023 release and ‘Colonel Rick Flag’ in ‘The Suicide Squad’. Cara Jade Myers is another known actress who recently starred in ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ in the role of ‘Anna’. The upcoming feature film is one among the works that the actress has supposedly taken up in 2024.
