Both Dean Devlin and Jonathan Glassner created the American sci-fi show called “The Ark”. The show premiered on Syfy on February 1, 2023 and the first season comprises 12 episodes. Lt. Sharon Garnet, portrayed by Christie Burke, assumes the role of captain of an interstellar spacecraft after a catastrophe. In April 2023, the show got renewed for a second season.
Plot of Season 1:
One hundred years from now, the spacecraft “The Ark” is en route to its destination ‘Proxima b’ when a catastrophic event occurs, resulting in extensive damage and loss of life. The remaining crew must collaborate to maintain their trajectory and ensure their survival.
