Silicon Valley Season 7 has been canceled: Here’s why
The adventure of Peter Pan and its creators appears to have come to an end after six amusing and embarrassing seasons. After Sunday, December 8, when the final episode of Season 6 airs, Silicon Valley won’t be back on television, officially bringing Richard (Thomas Middleditch) and his pals’ journey to a conclusion.
But one well-known character who probably won’t be included in the group’s last-minute scrambling is Erlich Bachmann, played by T.J. Miller. After Season 4, the comedian quit the HBO sitcom. Miller left because of scheduling conflicts, according to accounts that vary, although he also stated that he made the decision to leave.
Miller said, “It felt like a breakup with HBO,” during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in June 2017. “They said, ‘Well, I don’t think this is the end of Erlich,’ during the last phone conversation. I said, “I know, but I think this is for the best. I still want to see him on television.”
In May, Mike Judge and Alec Berg, the show’s creators and executive showrunners, declared that Silicon Valley was coming to an end, despite having a devoted fan base and an abundance of material to work with.
The couple stated at the time, according to Deadline, “We’ll miss it terribly, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion.” “We will always be grateful to our amazing HBO partners, cast, and crew.
