What To Expect From Cobra Kai Season 4?
As the new year rings in the popular Netflix series, Cobra Kai is ready to come back with Season 4. The series is a sequel to the popular movie the karate kid. The popularity of the show made it to be available on Youtube in August 2020. Season 3 of the show landed in the list of Netflix’s top 10 debut list. The last season ended with former teen karate rivals Daniel LaRusso and William Zabka putting aside their differences to team up and take on Johnny’s ex-mentor, the sadistic John Kreese. One can never get enough of the karate kid, and this is why the series is all set to treat its viewers to a whole new set of twists and turns with the new launch.
Cobra Kai Season 4: Release Date
Netflix hasn’t released the date for Cobra kai season 4 yet. However, in October 2020, showrunner Jon Hurwitz took to Twitter to inform that the writer has completed the scripts for season 4. According to some sources, the filming for the series would begin in Atlanta from January 20 to April 15. The first two seasons of the series had a turnaround time of about six months from filming to premiere. Season 3 took almost a year to complete. Based on the schedule, the expectations are that the new Cobra kai season 4 would be released during late fall 2021.
What would be the Cast?
As per reports, Cobra Kai season 4 would continue to be the same with William Zabka as Johnny, Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso. Season 4 would witness the return of Martin Kove as John Kreese and the students of rival dojos. The other cast for the series would be Xolo Mariduena as Miguel Diaz, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene,
Jacob Bertrand as Eli Hawk Moskowitz, Peyton List as Tor Nichols, and Gianni Decenzo as Demetri. Courtney Henggeler would play Amanda LaRusso, Daniel, and Vanessa Rubio’s wife as Carmen Diaz Miguel’s mother. Expectations are that the audience might see Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver, the villain from Karate kid part 3 movie. The cast from season 3 not making a comeback would be Yuji Okumoto as Chozen, Tamlyn Tomato as Kumiko. According to some sources, the former love interest of Johnny and Daniel, Elisabeth Shue, would not be reprising Ali’s role.
The third season of Cobra Kai ended with another brawl. The new season would see Cobra Kai students fighting against their former friends who are now part of Eagle Fang dojo and members of Miyagi-do. Johnny and Daniel would join hands to confront John Kreese at Cobra Kai dojo, doing all that it takes to stop him. Kreese would be seen offering them a deal where he would leave the town if they win the reinstated All Valley tournament. Johnny and Daniel would team up to start training the students of their merged dojos. The season 3 finale saw Kreese placing a phone call to his old Vietnam buddy Terry Silver. Terry is a wealthy businessman who funded Cobra Kai. He was the main villain in Karate Kid 3 movie. In season 4, Terry would team up with Kreese again to take on Johnny and Daniel.
