This upcoming feature film is set in Ireland and will reportedly feature characters from Bram Stoker’s Dracula and the Irish legend of the Dearg-Due. Titled as, ‘Feed’ the upcoming project will focus on a group of social media influencers in their 20s who decide to rent a remote contemporary mansion after being inspired from the legend surrounding the vampire. Except, the visit soon turns deadly as the crew battle for their lives when they awaken the world’s original vampire from its slumber. Currently, ‘Feed’ is only under development and is predicted to actively commence its production in January, next year.
Ripple World Pictures will be taking up the development of this upcoming feature film alongside Screen Ireland, Umedia and Metro International. Some of the works under Ripple World Pictures include, ‘She’s Missing’ a thriller which premiered in 2019, ‘Moon Dogs’ which features a coming-of-age story, ‘Ghosthunters- On Icy Trails’ which premiered in 2015, ‘Happy Hour’ a comedy and more. Galway, Ireland will be serving as the primary filming location for ‘Feed’ whose expected release in in 2024.
Niamh McCormack, Daisy Jelley and Clinton Liberty Joins the Cast
Niamh McCormack, Daisy Jelley and Clinton Liberty will possibly be playing primary roles in the upcoming feature film. Niamh McCormack is a known actress whose works include, ‘Everything Now’ a drama series which premiered in 2023, ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves’ which was directed by John Francis Daley, ‘Who We Love’ which premiered in 2021 and more. Daisy Jelley is an emerging actress and her works include, ‘How to Date Billy Walsh’ which is currently under production and ‘Better Get Better’ a short film which premiered in 2021. Clinton Liberty is another emerging actor who is known for, ‘Red Election’ in which he played the role of Marcus, ‘This Is Christmas’ which premiered in 2022 and ‘Handsome Devil’ which was directed by John Butler among others.
Jacqueline Kerrin, Dominic Wright, Niamh Fagan, Bastien Sirodot and Cloe Garbay will be heading the production crew for ‘Feed’. Jacqueline Kerrin is the co- founder of Ripple World Pictures alongside Dominic Wright. Niamh Fagan is a producer at Lunar Pictures. Bastien Sirodot is the CEO of Umedia and a part of its production team alongside Cloe Garbay.
Marco van Belle will be serving as the director and writer of the upcoming feature film. Marco van Belle is a known director whose works include, ‘Arthur and Merlin’ which is based on the Arthurian Legends and premiered in 2015, ‘The Book That Wrote Itself’ a comedy and more.
