Gerard Johnson’s upcoming project is supposedly a feature film titled ‘Odyssey’. Being an emerging director, Gerard Johnson is primarily known for his short films. The upcoming project appears to be his first project in 2024. Though the plot of ‘Odyssey’ is not known, the reference to Homer’s classic epic certainly suggest that the upcoming project will posses some of the themes from the poem such as the disparity between good and evil, adventure or fate. Among the possible cast additions for this upcoming project are Mikael Persbrandt, Guy Burnet, Polly Maberly and Charley Palmer Rothwell.
Presumably, ‘Odyssey’ is currently in its pre- production and will possibly commence its filming soon. The film is said to be a production under companies The Electric Shadow Company and Stigma Films.

Mikael Persbrandt is a known actor who recently starred in ‘Hammarskjöld’, a biopic on the economist Dag Hammarskjöld, ‘Foundation’ in which he played the role of ‘The Mule’ and ‘Poromafia’ a comedic crime drama. Though the role that Mikael Persbrandt will potentially take up in the upcoming feature film is not known, there is a good chance that he will be donning a primary character. Guy Burnet is another popular actor who is known for his roles in ‘Minx’ which is set in the 70s, ‘Oppenheimer’ a recently released biopic on J. Robert Oppenheimer and ‘The Feed’ in which he played the role of Tom Hatfield.
In the upcoming feature film, Gerard Johnson is also rumored to be a co-writer alongside Austin Collings. Austin Collings is another emerging artist who will potentially have his film debut with ‘Odyssey’.
