‘Artist in Residence’, a new project from the emerging production company, Lockwood Pictures, has its location in Utah and is predicted to have a character driven plot line. Lockwood Pictures will be collaborating with Tall Order Productions and Rainmaker Films for this upcoming feature film. Tall Order Productions is a production company that works in film, television and the commercial industry. Some of their finished/ in- progress works include, ‘Little Anna’ which was directed by J. Batzli, ‘Lightning Strikes My Spine’, which is a music video, ‘Affair’, ‘Anaconda’ and more. RainMaker Films is another production company whose works include, ‘Stowaway’ which starred Shamier Anderson, Anna Kendrick, Daniel Dae Kim and more, ‘The Wrath of Becky’ which premiered in 2023, ‘Kill Switch’ which was directed by Tim Smit and more.
The upcoming feature film is rumored to have its shooting in Park City, Utah. Park City is a place that is known for its stellar landscapes including its mountains which is a frequent spot for skiing among others. A number of films have been shot in Utah such as, ‘Wind River’ which starred Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, ‘Dumb and Dumber’ a classic that featured Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, ‘Drive Me Crazy’ which premiered in 1999 and more.
Michael Kristoff to Direct ‘Artist in Residence’
As per our sources, Michael Kristoff is supposedly joining the crew for ‘Artist in Residence’ as the film’s director. Michael Kristoff is an emerging filmmaker whose popular works include, ‘We Don’t Belong Here’ which is a Bright Space produced feature film and ‘Live at the Foxes Den’ which premiered as drama film, starring Jackson Rathbone, Jack Holmes, Jocelin Donahue and more. Michael Kristoff will be composing the screenplay for ‘Artist in Residence’ that will commence its filming by this Fall.
Russell Geyser, Mike Hogan, Clay Pecorin and Chris Robert are reportedly joining the team as the producers of ‘Artist in Residence’. Russell Geyser is a known producer who is popular for the horror drama titled, ‘Separation’, ‘To Catch a Killer’ which premiered this year and is a crime thriller, ‘The Hill’ which starred Dennis Quaid, Colin Ford and more. Mike Hogan is an emerging producer who has previously co- produced ‘Anaconda’ among others. Clay Pecorin was a part of ‘Stowaway’, ‘Separation’, ‘The Wrath of Becky’ and more besides producing several other works of entertainment. Chris Robert is another surfacing producer. With a set crew overseeing the development of ‘Artist in Residence’, the film is expected to premiere by 2024.
