Falling Into Your Smile is a Chinese romance comedy youth sports drama series directed by Qiu Zhong Wei and produced by Kelsey Yang. It was launched on June 23, 2021 on LINE TV Tencent Video Youku. This drama series is based on a very popular web novel titled “You’re Beautiful When You Smile” by Qing Mei. The main characters are Cheng Xiao (as Tong Yao), Xu Kai (as Lu Si Cheng), and Zhai Xiao Wen (as Jian Yang).
Falling Into Your Smile is not just another typical Asian drama series that you would watch just for the gaming elements. Overall, it is a wholesome drama that carefully portrays the nuanced issues in the gaming business with outstanding characters. The series is entertaining, lovely, and totally captivating.
When Falling Into Your Smile was released, it quickly gained attention from fans around the world, and has since then been eagerly awaiting the second season. But will a second season happen? Here’s what we know about season 2 of Falling Into Your Smile.
Will There Be a Season 2 of Falling Into Your Smile?
As of this time, Falling Into Your Smile has not been confirmed for a second season run but rumors circulating over the Internet imply that there may be a second season in preparation. The rom-com drama series aired on television for nearly a year but unfortunately, not a single word has been heard from the show makers concerning a continuation of the popular series.
Considering the lack of updates from the producers or cast, it is unlikely that a second season of Falling Into Your Smile will happen. Most Chinese series wrap the story with a single season and we think that this is the case for the popular series as it consisted of a total of 31 episodes. The story ended on a satisfactory note with the two main characters getting the happy ending that they deserved. So we doubt that a new season will happen in the future. However, we can still wait for official announcements.
Falling Into Your Smile Season 2 Release Date
As previously mentioned, a second season of Falling Into Your Smile is not confirmed. Hence, an official release date is not available and although there were rumors about a possible season 2, it looks like it’s nowhere near true as the show makers have not said anything about the next chapter.
The drama debuted on June 23, 2021, and ended on July 15, 2021. It consisted of a total of 31 episodes.
Needless to say, it’s over a year since Falling Into Your Smile was released, and at this point, it looks like this series is not getting a second season or not happening anytime soon.
