‘Papeles’ is an upcoming feature film which is rumored to star Megan Montaner in a primary role. Known for her performances across entertainers in multiple genres and primarily in comedy themed works, Megan Montaner has been active in both the film and television industry for more than a decade. Some of her character portrayals include Emma in ‘If Only’ which premiered in 2022, Pepa Aguire in ‘El secreto de Puente Viejo’, Sara Campos in ‘La caza. Monteperdido’ a drama series and Elena Pons in ‘Velvet Colección’. In the upcoming project, she will potentially take on the role of Ana Méndez. As of now, ‘Papeles’ appears to be Megan Montaner’s first project in 2024. Though the plot of ‘Papeles’ is yet to be revealed, we did manage to find some updates associated with the crew and other aspects of the film.
Arturo Montenegro Joins the Crew for ‘Papeles’
Reportedly, Arturo Montenegro is joining the crew for the upcoming feature film as both its director and writer. Arturo Montenegro is an emerging artist whose previous works include ‘Cumpleañero’ which premiered in 2022 as a thriller themed drama, ‘Frozen in Russia’ which starred Joshua Blake and more, ‘Everybody Changes’ a 2019 film which has a rating of 6.6 on IMDB and ‘El Cheque: La Película’ a comedy. Arturo Montenegro is also an actor and has starred in quite a few works of entertainment. The other supposed cast members of the upcoming feature film are Carlos Bardem, Antonio Dechent and Gustavo Bassani, among others.
Currently, ‘Papeles’ appears to be under production and is predicted to wrap up its filming soon. The development of the film is supposedly being taken up under production companies Criatura Cine, El Sueño Eterno Pictures and QFilms. There is a good chance that the upcoming project could feature other spots as sets besides Spain. Unfortunately, official updates are yet to be made on the matter.
