Are you ready to scream at the top of your lungs and have sleepless nights? You better be prepared with all that because a new horror movie titled “Boone” based on a real story of a serial killer is coming your way. Horror movie fanatics sure are thrilled right now for they’ve added one more film to their list to look forward to.
Currently, details for the upcoming film are pretty much scarce since it is still very new but one name that did pop up is Lorin McCraley– who has been cast in an unknown role. Except for him, no other name has been confirmed.
McCarley will also serve as a producer with Paul Sinacore as they are gearing up to bring the gut-wrenching tale of Boone Helm (America’s first documented notorious serial killer) to live in the theatres. Provisionally titled “Boone,” the movie is a period element that will take place starting from the late 1850s, which will follow the final days of Boone Helm famously known as “the Kentucky Cannibal” as two tremendous policemen hunt his vile actions across the extent of the Wild West. Boone was mainly known for his intense self-preservation, which influenced him to consume track mates to keep up with harsh situations.
“Boone” is set to start shooting in the Fall of 2023 in Missouri, and if the producers come to an agreement, the film will star at least two A-listers in the central roles.
As of now, the production team is on the lookout to propose the roles of Boone Helm and Sheriff Nathan Hurley to some A-list actors only. For Boone, the serial killer the studio is looking for an A-lister between the ages of 40 to 55 to portray the character. Sheriff Hurley, the lawman whose son was murdered by Boone, will be played by another A-lister between the age group of 50 to 85.
Playing the role of Boone will need its talent to have excellent horsemanship abilities and wishes to welcome multiple strong supporting leads for its upcoming $6 million shoot. The movie is being jotted down by McCraley and Edward Cieplinski, and currently, no director has been attached for the film so far but hopefully, it will soon. We’re also looking forward to the two A-listers who’ll be cast in the major roles for the anticipated “Boone.” It is expected that the movie will be out in late 2023 or sometime in 2024.
