Shark Tank India is a business reality TV show, launched by SET Max India. Released on 20 December 2021 for the first time in India, this show is inspired by an American reality show of the same name (Shark Tank). In other words, Shark Tank India is an Indian franchise of the American TV reality show, which aired on 9th August 2009. It encompasses a total of 284 episodes and 24 successful seasons. The show follows the concept of young and aspiring entrepreneurs making business deals with the panel of investors i.e, the ‘Sharks’.

In this show, entrepreneurs from all over the country share their business ideas in front of a panel of judges – to get financial support and proper business guidance. In the very first season, a total of 62,000 young aspirants have participated with their unique business ideas. After the PI and GD round, only 198 out of 62,000 managed to reach the stage round, where they can pitch their idea. Out of 198, only 65 aspirants were approved for the business deals. The entire concept of the show was very much appreciated by the critics, and well, the show turned out to be a huge hit!

Earlier this show was made for only 30 episodes, but keeping an eye on the popularity, the makers extended it to 35. Shark Tank India not only witnessed massive success in the Indian TV reality show but also furnished an ecosystem for emerging and aspiring entrepreneurs!

Shark Tank Indian Season 2: Release Date

Shark Tank India was launched on 20 December 2021, which was being broadcasted by Sony Entertainment. The makers of the show made it official to telecast it from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. Sony released the first promo of Shark Tank India on 24th November, adding new excitement to the hearts of fans after ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.

The entire show was telecasted in the Hindi language, with each episode being 40-45 minutes long. For the first time, Sony entertainment brought such a fresh concept, which was no less than a risky move. But that doesn’t matter because the show did get a brilliant response from the audiences as well as the critics.

Keeping an eye on the stardom and popularity that this show has earned, we can anticipate seeing the second chapter of the show super soon! However, Sony entertainment has not yet announced any official confirmation regarding the renewal of the show.

Shark Tank India Season 2: Cast

Shark Tank India features tons of potential investors who are very successful in their field and are termed as “Sharks” in the show. These multimillionaire judges address the innovative business ideas of young and emerging entrepreneurs – and then decide whether to invest in their plan or not.
