Good news for all the fans of Citadel. Created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil, Citadel has officially announced its second installment.
Citadel introduces viewers to a world where humans have colonized other planets but still face danger from alien forces on Earth. A small team known as “the citadel” is formed to protect humanity against these threats while also uncovering secrets about their own pasts along the way.
This highly trained unit consists of members such as John Marlowe (played by Richard Madden), his wife Alice (played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas), and former soldier turned mercenary Rios (played by Pedro Pascal). Citadel Season 2 Cast
Season two of Citadel will feature some familiar faces such as Richard Madden (Game Of Thrones) who plays John Roderick and Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantico) who portrays his wife Kate Roderick. Other returning actors include Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Vikings), Yasen Atour (Young Wallander), Paul Giamatti (Billions) and more. There are also some new additions including Tom Brooke (Preacher).
Citadel Season 2 Release Date
The show was originally released on April 28, 2023, with its first two episodes. The series shas a total of six episodes. The official release date for Citadel’s second season was announced by the makers in March 2024 andit is expected that it will air sometime in 2024. It is reported that Joe Russo will be directing the entire episodes in the upcoming series. Citadel Season 2 Plot
The upcoming installment of the series will pick up the storyline where it has ended. As we saw at the end of the first season, John revealed many things about his past life while saving his wife’s life. John came to know that everything he did to protect her wife was pre-planned and he was selected by an association called “the Citadel” which protects humanity from evil forces. As John delves deeper into this world, he finds himself at odds with powerful enemies who want him dead or worse – enslaved forever. With help from allies like Father Peter (Andrew Scott), John must fight against these dark forces if he wants any chance at saving himself and those closest to him.

The makers is yet to announce the renewal of the trailer for the second season. It’s exciting times ahead for fans of “The Family Business” with production already underway on its highly anticipated sixth season which is expected to air late 2024 depending on how quickly filming progresses over coming months!
We know that most of our favorite characters from past seasons will be back again plus potentially some newcomers too although no further details beyond this point have yet been revealed by producers – leaving us all wondering exactly what twists and turns await us come premiere day!
