What to Expect in Season 3 of BMF?
Showrunner Heather Zuhlke sat down with Variety and shared some details on what fans can expect in the third season of BMF.
“What you’re going to see is the fallout and somatically all of our characters are in a season of reinvention across the board – Charles, Lucille, Meech, Terry, Bryant (Steve Harris) and Jin. There’s consequences to all these things. So you’re going to see all of that dramatized moving forward.”
Zuhlke filled in as showrunner with Randy Huggins’ non-appearance in the second season. She was asked by the news outlet about his involvement on season 3 and how she would continue to keep the tale moving forward along with Huggins’ vision.
Zuhlke said, “I had a very clear sense of what his vision was for Season 3. We talked in depth about it. He’s still very much focused on his recovery and his new daughter. So I talked to him quite a bit. I would go and visit him quite a bit. Now that I’m here on set, though, it’s more limited. He’s very, very present here and we have our #HuggyFridays. Our writers’ room theme for our characters was reinvention, but the theme that Randy had picked for us — our set theme — is “space baby.””
She continued, “Season 3 storylines are going to be out of this world. So we have our space baby shirts with Randy’s face on them. He’s in an astronaut outfit on the moon with his Detroit hat and he’s planting the “BMF” Season 3 flag in space. So he’s very much present and everybody gets to see his smiling face, which is pretty wonderful.”
BMF season 3 expected storyline
The Black Mafia Family, a drug trafficking and money laundering organisation, is the subject of Randy Huggins’ American criminal drama television series BMF (also known as Black Mafia Family).
The true story of two brothers who emerged from southwest Detroit’s run-down streets in the late 1980s and founded one of the most significant criminal families in American history served as the inspiration for BMF. Terry “Southwest T” Flenory’s commercial savvy, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory’s charismatic leadership, and the brotherly partnership’s vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip-hop would make the brothers famous on a global scale.
The foundation of their relationship and the reason behind their eventual estrangement would be their unwavering devotion to their families. This is a tale about the pursuit of the American ideal among love, treachery, and thuggish capitalism. The third season’s story will continue where the second season left off.
Is BMF worth watching?
Viewers have responded to BMF with greater fervour than ever before because it beautifully and grittyly tells the tale of Detroit. We’re excited to continue developing the amazing tale of the Flenory brothers as they change the game by establishing their own rules after such a successful start with season two. We eagerly anticipate what our outstanding producers and actors will produce next. Given its brilliant plot, it is undoubtedly worth seeing!
