History channel’s survival series, Alone has received immense praises from fans and critics alike. The fact that the series has run across nine seasons since its debut in 2015 is a testimony to its success. Alone is a test of contestants’ survival skills, and mental, and physical endurance in isolated remote wilderness spaces with no human interaction and worldly luxuries. All About Alone
Alone is an American survival TV reality or competition show that premiered on June 18, 2015, on History. The storyline of the series, “follows the self-documented daily struggles of 10 individuals (seven paired teams in season 4) as they survive alone in the wilderness for as long as possible using a limited amount of survival equipment.”
The winner of the show get the grand prize of $500,000 (increasing to $1 million in season 7). Every year, the series is shot in different destinations. Some of the places where the reality shows are shot are Vancouver Island, Patagonia, Chilko Lake in interior British Columbia, British Columbia, Northern Mongolia, and Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories.
The producers behind the serie are Leftfield Pictures in association with Russ McCarroll, and Zachary Behr, Gretchen Palek, Shawn Witt, Zachary Green, Ryan Pender, David George, Kiran Malhotra, and Brent Montgomery as executive producers.

Is Alone Staged?
Despite the love that fans are pouring in, many speculate that Alone is pre-written. Yet series creators have told on different occasions that Alone is not scripted. Every participant records their experiences in the wilderness without any crew members following them. Their only mode of human interaction is the weekly medical check-ins by the professionals. But as the show progresses, medical check-ins become frequent, say it happens every 3-4 days to ensure that the contestants’ Body Mass Index is not dropping below the optimal level. If the BMI is 17 or less, there are chances of organ failure in the participants. Thus, it is not favorable to keep them on the show during that period.
Is Alone 10 release date?
Season one of Alone which consists of 11 episodes was released on June 18, 2015, and ended on August 20, 2015. Season two which comprised 15 episodes was launched on April 21, 2016, and ended on July 14, 2016. Season three consisted of 12 episodes and was released on December 8, 2016, and finished on February 9, 2017. Season four which consists of 12 episodes was launched on June 15, 2017, and completed on August 17, 2017. Season five comprised 12 episodes aired from June 14, 2018, to August 16, 2018. Season six consisted of 11 episodes premiered on June 6, 2019, and ended on August 22, 2019. Season seven comprising 11 episodes was released on June 11, 2020, and ended on August 20, 2020. Season eight, consisting of 12 episodes, was launched on June 3, 2021, and finished on August 19, 2021. Season nine consisting of 11 episodes was launched on May 26, 2022, and ended on August 4, 2022.
It is very much early to get a renewal announcement for Alone 10 considering the show is on air currently. That said, there is no definite launch date for its future episodes at this moment. But keeping in mind the show’s release format, fans should not expect its next batch of episodes until the summer of 2022. Typically, the series runs from June to mid-August, thus, it is safe to assume that the nine-season will conclude by August 2022. And following that, things will become clear for its next season.

Alone Season 10’s plotline: What’s new?
Alone’s plotline is no secret. It follows a similar format in each season with participants competing against one another in wilderness locations to win a hefty cash prize. The show creators launch a boot camp for participants in which they are examined by third parties for their survival skills and mental and physical fortitude. Every year, thousands of people send their videos to stand a chance of getting into the show, but sadly, only a handful of them make it to the series.

Though there hasn’t been an official confirmation of season 10 yet, there has been an announcement regarding 2 spin-off shows: “Alone: The Skills Challenge” and “Alone: Frozen.”
“The Skills Challenge,” which premiered Aug. 4, “focuses on three former ‘Alone’ participants as they compete in build challenges, devised by another former participant, to develop shelter in the wilderness,” Variety reported.
“Frozen,” which premieres Thursday, Aug. 11, follows six former “Alone” contestants as they try to survive 50 days in the harsh winter of Labrador, Canada. Winners will split a $500,000 cash prize, per Variety.
