Station 19 returned with its fifth season on September 30, 2021, and is still ongoing but much to the delight of the fans, the renewal announcement came early for the sixth installment. The series was officially given the green signal for another season run by ABC after renewing Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy.

“It’s a privilege to tell stories of our heroic first responders, who on our show and in real life put their lives on the line every day to keep us all safe,” co-executive producer Krista Vernoff explained. “I’m so grateful to Disney and ABC for the early pickup for season six of Station 19! The Release Date For Season 6 of Station 19: When Is It?

As of now, ABC is yet to announce the official release date for the sixth season of Station 19. The fifth season production was badly affected by the surge of the Omicron virus and therefore had to be postponed. But thankfully, it managed to hit our screens and so far released a total of nine episodes with a couple more to go before it wraps with the finale.

The earliest we can anticipate a premiere date for the new episodes would be this September or early 2023.
