Star vs the Forces of Evil is an American sci-fi series featuring Disney XD’s first woman director, Daron Nefcy. Its last episode of installment fourth ‘Cleaved’ aired in May 2019 and since then there is no word about the return of this critically acclaimed series. Yet fans have not given in, petitions demanding the renewal of its fifth season are making rounds on social media platforms. Unfortunately, the series makers have not gotten influenced by the fans’ appeal. So, what is the fate of Star vs The Forces of Evil Season five? Star vs The Forces of Evil Story So Far
Star vs The Forces of Evil revolves around Star Butterfly, an heir to the royal throne of the Butterfly Kingdom. On her 14th birthday, she receives the family heirloom magical wand from her parents, King River and queen Moon Butterfly. After Star sets the castle in a blaze unintentionally, her parents decide to send her to Earth to practice magic. On the planet, Star makes friends with Marco Diaz and begins living a normal life- going to Echo Creek School and making friends. But the challenge comes in the form of Luko, who conspires to take away Star’s magical wand. The friend duo encounters numerous hurdles while meeting the daily struggles of their school life in addition to saving the wand. They travel to parallel universes via dimensional scissors, meet new people and also, take on new enemies in every season. It is a journey of their epic adventures as they traverse to different dimensions. The series further centralizes around the conflicting scenarios guarding the regal kingdom and its rulers. There is Queen Eclipsa, known to be the Darkest Queen of the Butterfly empire, holding even more darker secrets. Every season has a compelling storyline and fascinating visual appeal. Overall the show is entertaining, and fun to watch.
Star vs The Forces of Evil Season 5
Its last episode ends with Star devising a way to fight against Solarian Warriors, but it would wipe off the magical world of their supernatural abilities. Would that mean that STar will live like an ordinary girl with no magic? There is a possibility that season 5 if it ever happens, will lead in this direction. However, the interesting part is seeing how the two lovers unite with each other. To complete the pieces, the animated series must make a return for the fifth season.
When is Star vs The Forces of Evil releasing?
Darcey has officially announced in May 2019 that ‘Cleaved’, the fourth season’s last episode is also the end of the Buttery saga. Since two years have elapsed from it, we are still hoping that Darcey plans to change her mind considering the overwhelming response of the audience worldwide.
However, as per sources, season 5 will never happen as season 4 was the final season of the series and as of May 2022, there is no official announcement regarding a new season it’s because the series stands canceled indicating that there won’t be a fifth season.
