It appears that Max-Arthur Mantle will be taking on the role of both direction and possible screenplay for the upcoming feature film. Max-Arthur Mantle has previously worked on documentaries with themes centered on an individual’s identity. The upcoming feature film is rumored to be the Jamaican writer, director and producer’s film debut. It is also suggested that Max-Arthur Mantle will be serving as the producer for the upcoming film alongside Andrea Meshel.
‘The Other Bwoy’ will most likely touch on themes of prejudice, repression, stigma and more that are associated with one’s sexual orientation which directly impacts their relationship with friends and family. The upcoming feature film is predicted to be a coming of age story set in Jamaica. Other said cast additions to the upcoming feature film are Matthew Wilkas, Matthew Risch, Gilbert Glenn Brown and Tristan Cunningham among other who will potentially don primary roles. Eunah Lee is also rumored to be joining the crew for the upcoming feature film as its cinematographer.
