A new sci- fi series is reportedly under production and has an insanely chilling plot that it is guaranteed to aid it in rising up the charts. Titled, ‘Godfall’, the series will narrate the events that unfold in a small town with the arrival of an extraterrestrial species. This upcoming production is being taken up under Imagine Entertainment with producers Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner and Van Jensen joining the crew. Imagine Entertainment is an established production company who are primarily known for their television projects. Some of the popular series under Imagine Entertainment include, ‘Swagger’ which premiered as a sports drama inspired from the experiences of Kevin Durant, ‘The Slumber Party’ which was released this year and ‘Bossy Bear’ by Jason Hopley, to name a few.
Brian Grazer is the founder of Imagine Entertainment and is a renowned producer. Kristen Zolner is the president of Imagine Entertainment and her productions include, ‘Bo Burnham: Make Happy’, ‘Anthony Jeselnik: Thoughts and Prayers’, ‘Ali Wong: Baby Cobra and more. Van Jensen is comic book writer, author and filmmaker who is an active creator at DC Comics. His works include, ‘The Flash Vol. 6: Out Of Time (The New 52)’, ‘Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer’, ‘Green Lantern/New Gods: Godhead’ and more. The upcoming series will be directed by Ron Howard, an acclaimed artist. Some of the known works of Ron Howard are, ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ in which he played the role of Opie Taylor, ‘The Da Vinci Code’- a book adaptation, ‘American Graffiti’ in which he played the lead role and more. ‘Godfall’ is predicted to commence its filming soon and since the plot is set in Nebraska, the place will most likely be the setting for the plot.
A look at the Plot for ‘Godfall’
‘Godfall’ begins when a humungous asteroid hits the surface of the Earth. What was thought to be humanity’s end, is revealed to be an extraterrestrial species that is three- miles tall. Though initially presumed to be dead, outside Little Springs, Nebraska, the alien becomes a subject to human experiments as the place soon gets occupied by the government who initiate a top-secret research site and creates a major metropolitan area, inhabited by soldiers, scientists, bureaucrats, and the wrongdoers in the eyes of law. David Blunt, the sheriff of Little Springs is determined to keep peace despite the new occupants who disrupt it. However, as a series of brutal, bizarre murders appear, Blunt begins the hunt for the killer and unexpectedly, the entire chain of events seem to be tied to the “Giant” as the alien is called.
