Riley Green has circled June 11, 2027 in Toronto — and the date lands in the last summer the city’s waterfront amphitheatre will look the way it does now. Live Nation Ontario announced the booking, with the That’s Just Me Tour hitting RBC Amphitheatre at Ontario Place and tickets on sale Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m.
The clock is what makes this one interesting. The 16,000-capacity shed — 9,000 under the roof, 7,000 on the lawn — is set to close in the fall of 2027 for a multi-year overhaul, reopening as an outdoor stage in spring 2029 and as a year-round, roughly 18,000-capacity room by summer 2030. Every booking in that final season is effectively a lap of honour for a building that has hosted about 75 shows a year, roughly double the industry average.
Green won’t be travelling alone. “JUST ANNOUNCED!” the promoter wrote, tacking on Muscadine Bloodline, the Alabama-born Southern country-rock duo, plus Jake Worthington, a runner-up on season six of The Voice, and Hannah McFarland, a frequent Green collaborator who has opened for him on previous runs.
The date belongs to the That’s Just Me Tour, named for the album Green released September 18. It slots into a heavy 2027 itinerary rather than standing alone: he headlines the Friday night of Stagecoach 2027 in Indio, California, on April 23, a return trip after his 2026 set there was cut short by a wind-related evacuation that forced the festival to clear the grounds.
Before Toronto, there’s the Patriot Festival at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on May 30, 2027. After it, the same four-act bill rolls into the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse on July 15, 2027, where tickets also go on sale October 2.
Toronto’s amphitheatre opened May 18, 1995, with Bryan Adams, and spent eight years as Budweiser Stage before the RBC naming-rights deal — a partnership that runs to 2038 — took effect in October 2025. Imagine Dragons christened the new name on May 21, 2026.
By the time Green takes that stage next June, the pavilion will have one season left before the scaffolding moves in.
