Ozark Season 5: Exclusive Details

Created and illustrated by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, Ozark is an American crime drama-thriller series. The series was produced on MRC, starring an impeccable star cast!

The show revolves around a married couple, Marty and Wendy. Marty is a financial advisor and he relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort in the Ozarks. He gets into the whole money-laundering quandary and brings himself and his family into complexities. The series is an illustration of whatever follows thereafter.

The debut season of Ozark hit the screens on the 21st of July, 2017; the second season was released just after a year on 31st August, 2018. The third season aired in March 2017. Likewise, season 4 premiered in June 2020 with a total of 14 episodes (divided into two parts). The first part premiered on January 2022, while the second is set to be premiered in May 2022.

Ozark Season 5: Renewed or Cancelled?

The first four seasons of Ozark got a lot of positive reviews from the audiences as well as the critics, scoring an impressive score on all rating aggregator sites! As for season 5, the makers of the show or the production team haven’t made any significant revelations that could lead us to deduce whether or not the show will get a renewal.

Considering the last season, it’s set to release in two parts, spreading out the suspense even further. The showrunner, Chris Mundy, initially suggested that the show would go on for long. “We’ve always talked about it as five seasons,” he said during a panel discussion with The Hollywood Reporter. “It could be four, it could be seven… but that always seemed like a good number to us.”

Does that mean there’s a possibility of Ozark season 5 to happen? Well, because everything is still under the wraps, we cannot really anticipate anything. Maybe season 4 is the finale season? Maybe it’s not? As of now, all we could do is wait until further announcements are made and hope that Netflix’s Ozark makes a solid comeback!
