Night Lovell is taking the new chapter on the road. The Ottawa rapper announced the My Blood as the Ink Tour in a post on X, with 1nonly billed as the run’s support act and tickets live at the link he dropped alongside it.
The timing is the point. My Blood as the Ink landed on Aug. 28, his first full-length since 2023’s I Hope You’re Happy, and a European leg is already on the books for February 2027 — Warsaw’s Progresja on Feb. 5, Prague’s Archa+, Berlin’s Metropol and Amsterdam’s Melkweg — with general sale having opened on Oct. 2.
Lovell has framed the record as a character study rather than a diary. “This album is Night Lovell playing into all the bad things people make him out to be,” he told FACES Magazine. “Essentially, Night Lovell cosplaying as Shermar Paul in a world where he is fed by the lies about him and decides to be exactly that.”
He has promised the stage show will match the scale. “This will be the best show that Night Lovell fans have ever experienced,” he said in the European announcement that trailed this one.
He has earned the right to swing bigger. Born Shermar Cuba Paul, the son of Ottawa rapper MC Renegade, Lovell was producing his own beats at 17 under the name KLNV before “Dark Light” went viral in 2014; the debut single has since cleared 211 million Spotify streams and gone platinum in Canada.
The past two years were mostly spent in other people’s lineups. Lovell played 52 shows in 2025, most of them as part of $uicideboy$’ Grey Day run with Bones, Germ and Chetta, plus an Australian and New Zealand swing in November that closed at Auckland’s Powerstation.
This time his name sits at the top of the poster, the album title doubling as the tour name, 1nonly riding shotgun. Europe’s dates were priced between roughly €30 and 790 CZK depending on the market, a modest ask for a venue run that includes a 2,000-capacity Berlin room.
Lovell’s own line about the album was that it’s him becoming what people already assumed he was. On a headlining tour, that version of him gets a full set instead of a 35-minute one.
