Leverage returned with its revival series nearly after a decade. The showrunners dropped the first part of LEverage: Redemption on IMDbTV on 8th July 2021. The series witnessed some major changes in the cast with Timothy Hutton’s journey ending as Nate Ford due to reasons unknown. Following the release of its first eight episodes, fans are eagerly awaiting for its another eight episodes. There is no official word regarding the premiere date of the second part of Leverage: Redemption. Yet it is a safe bet to say that the further episodes of the series will broadcast by the end of 2022. Given that the first part was scheduled for a mid-summer release, we are expecting the second chapter to be out by the mid or the fall.

It’s been reported in January 2022 by executive producer Dean Devlin that filming for season 2 is set to being soon and since it’s already May 2022 filming maybe have commenced or it’s unclear due to lack of information.

We can expect an announcement soon regarding the official release date and other information of the potential season 2 of Leverage: Redemption.

Leverage: Redemption Part 2: Plot details

Leverage: Redemption Part 1 unfolds great adventures for the legendary team who fight against injustice towards the commoners. They fleece malicious and powerful people. Part 1 saw Sophie joining the gang consisting of Hardison, Eliot, Parker, and others. We also witnessed the con artists coming back to action with cracking facial recognition security systems and fighting off for the justice of ordinary people. There is a possibility that the second part will continue after Season one’s past events. We are further expecting that the next chapter would have more cases relating to the newest additions to the cast- Harry and Breanna. Since the first eight episodes have portrayed their background stories, we are expecting that these characters will be explored more in the upcoming episodes.

Leverage: Redemption Part 2: Cast

The cast of Leverage: Redemption Part 1 will return for another season. With Gina Bellman reprising the role of Sophie Devereaux, Beth Riesgraf playing the role of Parker, and Noah Wyle returning to his role as Harry Wilson. Besides them, Christian Kane will appear as Eliot Spencer, and Aleyse Shannon playing out the Hacker as Hardison’s foster sister. Aldis Hodge will make a guest appearance as Hardison based on how the storyline leads further. There are speculations that James Marsters will join this cast as well, however, nothing is known about the role he is going to play in the series.

It would be interesting to see what fresh talent the show creators Chris Downey and John Rogers bring in to narrate the story.
