‘Dirty Dancing’, an 80s classic is receiving a sequel and is predicted to feature the one and only Jennifer Grey in its cast! Having starred as “Baby” in the 1987 film, Jennifer Grey’s return to the upcoming sequel is rumored to be in the same role as that of the original film. The upcoming feature film is also titled as ‘Dirty Dancing’ and is reportedly being taken up under the production company Megamix alongside Hidden Pictures and Lionsgate. Megamix is a known production company. The sequel is set in the 1990s and will feature Jennifer Grey in her iconic role of Frances “Baby” Houseman as she returns to Kellerman’s. Like the original, the sequel will be a romance centered on the experience of a young woman at the summer camp. When Jo takes a Summer job at a Catskills Resort, she is paired to partner with the star dancer performing for tourists. What follows is a developing young love between the two who has an instant chemistry between on another upon being acquainted.
