“Diabolik Lovers”, also known as “Diaborikku Ravāzu” is Japanese horror, romance, fantasy anime series established on an interactive game franchise launched for the PSP system. Its first game was launched back in 2012 and soon after, the game was adapted into a manga series. Following the popularity of the game and manga series, Diabolik Lovers then adapted into an anime a year later.

Diabolik Lovers season 1 was first released on September 16, 2013, and it became a huge hit among the audience of the manga series and the game franchise. After receiving such immense popularity and appreciation from fans across the globe, it didn’t take time for the show to renew for a second instalment of the animated series, which was released on September 23, 2015. It’s been six years since the second season aired and fans have been clamouring for a third season and to this day, fans are still waiting patiently for any kinds of updates or information about the third season of Diabolik Lovers. Well, the question is, are we getting a new season though? Here’s what we know about.

Is the second season of Diabolik Lovers renewed?

As of now, the series hasn’t been renewed for a third season although it’s been a little over six years since the last season aired and not forgetting that we’re almost at the end of 2022 and still there’s not a single update regarding the third season from the creators.

Although it was popular among many fans, the anime series didn’t do well in terms of ratings. However, fans remain hopeful for the show to return with a third season. Diabolik Lovers titled “Diabolik Lovers: Lost Eden,” was the last show which aired in 2017 in Japan.
