Full Metal Panic! is an abbreviation of the Japanese manga series, フルメタル・パニック! that debuted on January 8, 2002, on Funimation Channel. Created by Shiki Douji – ‘it follows Sousuke Sagara, a member of the covert anti-terrorist private military organization known as Mithril, tasked with protecting Kaname Chidori, a hot-headed Japanese high school girl.’
It stars Tomokazu Seki, Jason Douglas, Satsuki Yukino, Ikue Kimura, Michiko Neya, Chris Patton, Shin’ichirô Miki as the voice artists for the series.
Will there be Full Metal Panic Season 5?
No official announcement by the production houses has been officially declared yet about the renewal of the upcoming installment. However, the tweet from Sungwon Cho gave us hope for the renewal of the series. The tweet stated: “anime gods, please give us Full Metal Panic season 5, just one more season to stick the landing, hopefully, we don’t have to wait 13 years again”

Full Metal Panic Season 5 Release Date
As of now, no announcement about the renewal of the upcoming installment has been officially announced by the makers. Thus, we don’t have a specific release date. As per the leaks, filming is currently underway. If everything goes well, we might expect the renewal of the fifth season by the Summer of 2023. PS: These are just speculation, nothing’s been confirmed yet.
