All About Coyote?

Coyote, a Paramount +’s American crime drama series has garnered the attention of fans and critics alike for its riveting storyline and characters. It first landed on the network in January 2021, and since then fans have been wondering what the series’ future holds? To the dismay of viewers globally, Coyote has not yet been ordered for a sequel. But given the series’ popularity and ratings, we see no reason why the show would not return for a second season. With that in mind, here’s everything we know about a potential Coyote Season 2.

The series is executively produced by David Graziano, Michael Carnes, Josh Gilbert, Michelle MacLaren, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Rebecca Hobbs, and Michael Chiklis. While the production companies behind the series are Dark Horse Entertainment, The Carnes & Gilbert Business, Narrative Ballistics, MacLaren Entertainment,, Paramount Network Original, and Sony Pictures Television Studios.

Coyote season 2 Renewal Status/ Release date

Coyote has not been officially canceled as of April 2021. Thus, season two may arrive sooner or later. However, we have no release window for Coyote season two to look at. In the meanwhile, you may check its previous episodes on Paramount+ and have a good watch.

Coyote season one has shifted to CBS All Access from its original network Paramount + in 2020. The show has been a flagship program for the network, so there is a great chance of its renewal and return.

What is the possible storyline of Coyote Season two?

Coyote focuses on the story of Ben Clements, a retired Customs and Border Patrol agent, who is forced to join hands with a Mexican drug cartel for the safety of his family. The final episode saw Clements being questioned by the CIA and questioning his views and ideologies about the world through the initial run. If season two returns, it is very difficult to think what it would be like. Nonetheless, fans would be thrilled to see Michael back in action and doing unexpected things in his role as a former Border patrol officer.

Who is in the cast of Coyote Season two?

Though there are no precise casting details available as of now, it is possible that the original cast of Coyote may reappear in a potential season two. With Michael Chiklis reprising his role as Ben Clemens, Juan Pablo Ruba as Juan Diego Zamora, a small cartel’s official head, Kristyan Ferrer as Dante, and Octavio Pisano as cartel’s members, Emy Mena as Maria Elena Forbes.

David Graziano has written season one and also, developed it with Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert.

How many episodes will there be in season 2 of Coyote?

The previous season of Coyote had a total of 6 episodes. Thus, if the makers decide to follow a similar pattern, season 2 of the series will also comprise 6 episodes. However, there hasn’t been an official update yet. Stay connected with us for more updates!

Coyote ratings: Is the show worth watching?

The series Coyote received an IMDb rating of 6.8 out of 10. On rotten tomatoes, it received a 58% Tomatometer rating. Plus, it has secured positive responses from both critics and audiences. Hence, it’s definitely worth giving it a shot!

Coyote: Where To Watch

On Paramount +, you can watch all 6 episodes of Coyote Season 1. If the show Coyote Season two gets renewed for a second season, it will air on CBS. The series was originally ordered as ten episodes, targeted for sibling Paramount Network, but eventually was passed off to CBS All Access – ViacomCBS’ digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service – as a six-episode season.

Is there any trailer for Coyote Season two?

A trailer for Coyote Season two is still a long way off since the series still remains in the dark. But worry not, we shall keep you posted on Coyote Season two. So, make sure that you are not missing the important deets about the show. For that, bookmark this page.

The series’ core cast is currently busy with its other high-budget productions like Accused. Michael Chiklis has also shared a tweet to tell his fans about his new project, Accused. He posted, Focus has shifted to preparing for #ACCUSED now. Very excited about it. The script is excruciatingly intense. The story is just riveting. You’ll want to watch this one. Fans definitely look forward to this venture as it comes from the makers of House and Homeland. And the best part it follows an anthology theme.

Thus, it might take some time to bring the cast members together for season two considering their work commitments.

Will there be a season 3 of Coyote?

As of yet, season 2 of the series is yet to be released. Hence, there are no updates about Coyote season 3. However, if the makers release any updates, we will inform you guys. Stay connected with us, until then!

There is still no word about Coyote season 2 as of 2023

As of January 2023, CBS is yet to renew Coyote for a second season. After the first season of the series aired, star Michael Chiklis posted a tweet on 13 March, 2021. In the tweet he said, “Can’t wait to get back to work” on “Coyote.” This at least confirms that the series won’t be canceled and will return with season 2.

If the series returns, Chiklis will reprise his role and will be back as former border patrol agent Ben Clemens. The show would practically make no sense without him. The primary villains will also reprise their roles – cartel leader Juan Diego “El Catrin” Zamora played by Juan Pablo Raba. As for the plot, it will continue from where the previous season left off. Initially, Ben’s work with the Zamora cartel had caught the attention of the CIA. In the finale episode, he pitched himself as a confidential informant for the spy agency.

Coyote Season 2: Will it Happen?

The series still hasn’t been renewed or canceled and not a single word has been provided by the show makers. So at this point, we can only hope that the show returns with a new season or for the show makers to update us as soon as possible.
