‘The Cut’ is an upcoming thriller centered on a retired boxer who attempts to beat all odds as he returns to the ring, one last time. Rumor has it that the popular actor Orlando Bloom will be playing the lead for the upcoming project with the other additions to the cast being Clare Dunne and John Turturro. The project, which is supposedly in its post- production stage, is directed by Sean Ellis (‘Anthropoid’, ‘The Cursed’ and ‘Metro Manila’) , a popular artist who is also known as a writer and a producer.
Orlando Bloom who is primarily known for his role as Legolas in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ film franchise and Will Turner in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ recently starred in ‘Gran Turismo’ in the role of Danny Moore. He is also known for his portrayal of Rycroft Philostrate in Amazon Prime’s ‘Carnival Row’. Clare Dunne is a known actress who is popular for her roles in ‘Kin’ which ran for 2 seasons, ‘Herself’ in which she played the role of Sandra and ‘Cynthia’ a short film. John Turturro is known both as an actor and a filmmaker with some of his works being ‘The Name of the Rose’ which premiered in 2019, ‘Potentially Dangerous’ which has a rating of 9.0/10 on IMDB and ‘When the Music Changes’ which is a 2021 release.
For the upcoming project, Orlando Bloom is said to play the role of the boxer. Additionally he will be joining the crew for the project as its co- producer.
