Carly Rae Jepsen is coming to Toronto and Ottawa — and Ontario has roughly a week to plan. Live Nation Ontario announced both dates Wednesday, with general tickets going on sale October 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
The two Ontario stops sit inside a full North American run behind Day + Night, the double album Jepsen released this year. The general on-sale runs through Ticketmaster, after an artist pre-sale on October 6 and a Live Nation pre-sale the following morning, both at 10 a.m. local.
The routing is a long way from where Jepsen started. She finished third on Canadian Idol in 2007 and released a folk-leaning debut, Tug of War, the next year — before “Call Me Maybe” rewrote the script in 2012 by spending nine weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
What followed was an odd, durable pivot. Rather than chase that chart peak, Jepsen made 2015’s E•MO•TION, a synth-pop record that flopped commercially and then became a critical darling, reshaping expectations for what a former reality-TV contestant could sound like a decade into a career.
Day + Night is her first full-length since 2023’s The Loveliest Time, itself a companion piece to 2022’s The Loneliest Time. Two discs give the tour more material than most headliners bring to a single night — a selling point for a fanbase that treats deep cuts like singles.
Jepsen is far from the only Canadian act working the 2027 touring calendar, which promoters spent the fall filling with arena and amphitheater holds. Ontario just landed two of them.
The pre-sale windows close before the general on-sale opens October 8 at 10 a.m. local — and both halves of the album suggest a setlist worth losing a Tuesday night over.
