BOFURI: I Don’t Want To Get Hurt, So I’ll Max My Defence or simply Bofuri season 2 is a much-anticipated anime from fans around the globe.
Every gamer fantasises about the day when designers produce a true interactive virtual experience. Sadly, this innovation does not exist at this time; however, fiction exists that brings to light what life would have been if it did. If that’s your thing, there’s a decent possibility there’s an anime out there named after you.
This premise is used in a lot of anime (such as “Log Horizon” and “Sword Art Online”). None, however, have the same distinct personality or tone as “Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense.” “Bofuri” is mostly about uncovering an MMORPG in a true VR setting, just like its above- mentioned genre relatives. While shows like “Sword Art Online” focus on the experiences of hardcore gamers, “Bofuri” is about a cutesy noob who manages becoming one of the most powerful players in the fantasy VRMMORPG NewWorld Online.
The series began as an independent web novel released in 2016 by author Yuumikan, as per Anime News Network. The series quickly gained prominence, spawning adaptations in the form of a light novel, a manga, and (most recently) an anime. The first season of the show ended in 2020, but a second season was made official Shortly after. So far, here’s what we know regarding Bofuri Season 2.
Bofuri Season 2 Release date: When is it?
Fans of Bofuri will be pleased to learn that Season 2 has not only been officially confirmed, but will also be available soon. Silver Link, the show’s creators, wrapped up Season 1’s finale by announcing that Season 2 will air in 2022. Admittedly, this is a delightful surprise. It’s unusual for a new anime to be renewed for a second season so quickly.
Often, there is a period of unannounced limbo during which fans are abandoned to weep in the dark about the potential return of their favourite show. Fortunately, this is not the case with Bofuri.
However, this isn’t to say the situation is without risk. Season 2 was announced in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, when even the most popular shows were experiencing major delays. Nobody knows if the pandemic influenced the development of Season 2 of Bofuri yet. Silver Link’s lack of response to the situation, on the other hand, is a good sign that everything is on track.

The second season of Bofuri is essentially about handling the adventures of Maple, a gaming name. She has evolved further into a shield part in the online game she often used to play by enhancing her special powers.
The following season will concentrate on enhancing Maple’s potential to stay in the game based on his abilities. Season 1 ended with a twist and anticipation for fans, creating energy among them. Maple’s development as a gamer can be pretty evident by the fans.
