The comedy-crime show centers on Nino Scotellaro, a prosecutor from Sicily who has spent his entire life taking on the Mafia. He is suddenly suspected of being a Mafioso, one of the enemies he has always faced. He has nothing left to lose after receiving his punishment. According to the official logline, Nino will choose to carry out a Machiavellian strategy for retaliation and turn into the villain he was unfairly changed into.
Rome, where a section of the first season was also filmed, will be the location for the second season’s filming. The city’s architectural wonders, historical sites, recognizable landmarks, cultural relevance, and energetic streets make it an excellent film setting.
