21 Laps Entertainment is reportedly taking up a new project, a feature film titled as, ‘Undying’. 21 Laps Entertainment is a known production company founded by Shawn Levy. Some of their productions include, ‘Night at the Museum’ film series starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, Robin Williams and more, ‘Arrival’ which premiered in 2016 as an adaptation of ‘Story of Your Life’ by Ted Chiang, ‘The Adam Project’ starring Ryan Reynolds, Walker Scobell, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, ‘The Darkest Minds’ a novel adaptation and more. ‘Undying’ is supposedly a thriller and follows a woman who feels suffocated by motherhood and ends up having an affair with a man she hasn’t seen since high school only to find out that he has been dead for years.
Our sources suggest that the upcoming feature film is in its development stage and will commence its filming soon. ‘Undying’ will stream through Netflix who will be joining 21 Laps Entertainment for the development of the feature film.
Details on the Crew for ‘Undying’
Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine will be joining the crew for the upcoming feature film as its producers. Shawn Levy is a known producer and a recipient of numerous accolades. His upcoming film ‘Deadpool 3’ will feature Hugh Jackman in the cast as the Wolverine ( a character in the Marvel Comics and Cinematic Universe) alongside Ryan Reynolds. Dan Cohen is a journalist and filmmaker whose works include, ‘Killing Gaza’ a documentary which premiered in 2018, ‘Diamond Men’ which he directed, ‘Love and Monsters’ which premiered on Netflix and starred Ariana Greenblatt, Dylan O’Brien, Jessica Henwick and more, ‘Cut Bank’ which premiered in 2014 as a thriller, ‘Rosaline’ a re imagining of William Shakespeare’s popular love story- ‘Romeo and Juliet’ with Rosaline as the protagonist and more. Dan Levine is a known producer whose works include, ‘Voyage of the Unicorn’ which premiered in 2001 as a fantasy adventure film, ‘Why Him?’ which was directed by John Hamburg, ‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’ starring Ed Oxenbould and Jennifer Garner, ‘Along Came Polly’ a romantic comedy and more.
Ben Ketai will be joining the crew for the upcoming feature film as its writer. Ben Ketai is a known artist whose works include, ‘River Wild’ which premiered in 2023 as an adventure thriller, ‘Chosen’ which ran for three seasons, ’30 Days of Night: Dark Days’ which was directed by Ben Ketai himself and more. Besides composing the screenplay for ‘Undying’, Ben Ketai will be co- producing the film alongside Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine.
