With season three of the DC series, Titans primered in 2021, fans have been looking ahead to its fourth outing, which is slated to release in September 2022. But to the fans’ delight, it seems that there is more to the science-fantasy series. In a 2021 interview, series lead actor, Brenton Thwaites has hinted toward the fifth season, which is yet to get a renewal and subsequently, an official confirmation. With the conversations already happening around season five, here is everything you need to know about Titans season five.
What makes us believe that season five of Titans is on the cards?
Thwaites mentioned in the past that a specific storyline that fans might be keenly waiting for would possibly be included in season five. The actor who plays Nightwing in the series said that it is very common for Titans to do dream sequences that do not imply something for the series. Nonetheless, this is not the case with Prodigal, a season three’s episode that was first introduced to audiences in its previous season. The episode gets fans excited to see Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Koriand’r/ Starfire starting a family in the future. In the vision, Dick sees his demised father in the past and his future as a father to a little daughter who is birthed by Starfire.
Although there is no official synopsis of Titans season five just yet, we assume that the team is weaving plot threads that will lead to a season five. And this vision is going to be a part of future episodes.
Additionally, in DC Comics, there is a character, Mar’i who is a female child of Dick Grayson and Koriand’r. Mar’i joins forces with The Outsiders to combat metahumans who are on the brink of bringing the world closer to an apocalypse. After the war of DC’s Kingdom Come timeline, the Nightstar as she is called leads the new Titans just like her parents.
