The Walking Dead Season 11 -Plot , cast and release date
The Walking Dead made its first appearance in October 2010. Since then, it has garnered attention from a million fans worldwide. The fact that the show was renewed for the eleventh chapter before its official screening of the 10th installment is a testament to its popularity. Adapted from a comic book series penned down by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard, and Tony Moore, the horror series has entered its last season, much to the dismay of the fans. Yet Season 11 is going to be the biggest of all, as confirmed by the filmmakers. If you are keen to know about what is going to happen next in the zombie apocalypse and when it is coming out, here’s everything we know so far:
The Walking Dead season 11: Release date
The Walking Dead has dropped its teaser trailer that follows an unidentified narrator putting up questions like “ What are you doing here?” and “Have you been vaccinated for measles?”, to another character. Then the creators have disclosed a release date i.e. 22nd August 2021 via the teaser. The series will comprise 24 episodes, which is likely to end by the second half of 2022. Thus, the end of The Walking dead Saga will not arrive any soon. We guess that’s a great piece of news.
The Walking Dead season 11: Cast
The show’s core characters will be seen reprising their roles in the upcoming chapter. With Norman Reedus playing Daryl Dixon, Khary Payton as Ezekiel, Melissa McBride in the role of Carol Peletier, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, and Christian Serratos as Rosita Espinos. Fans want to know whether Rick Grimes ( Andrew Lincoln) will be a part of the final season or not. Sadly, there is no word about it but we are hoping to hear something soon. Other than these, Michael James Shaw is the new addition to the cast, who will lead the Commonwealth Army as Mercer. We are expecting more characters to add dramatic angles to the last season’s storyline.
The Walking Dead season 11: Plot Details
The next part has a lot of intriguing stories along with some familiar characters who have survived the zombies’ attack. What an interesting is the launch of Commonwealth, holding a great significance in the final arch. The community is led by Michael in the role of Mercer. They aim to restore the collapsed society to the pre-apocalypse, which does not come with all good things.
It will continue the feud between Nega who is on his way to Alexandria following his exile to the woods, and Maggie. It is revealed in the early parts that Nega has killed Maggie’s spouse. So, would Maggie take up revenge for her husband’s assassination? To make the story more dramatic, new villains, the Reapers, will invade Alexandria and set on a mission to hunt Maggie and her buddies. Considering that, there is a lot in store for the fans.
The walking dead Season 11 is going to be very, very, and very dark with some bright spots, as said by Scott Gimple, executive producer of the show. Stay tuned for more.
