The Real World is a reality based series conceived by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray. The series is produced through Bunim/Murray Prod. and was launched on MTV on May 21, 1992. 

The series is executively produced by Gil Goldschein, Kelly Rose, Jacquelyn French, Jim Johnston, and Jonathan Murray while its producers are George Verschoor, alongside Matt Kunitz, Rick de Oliveira, Anthony Dominici, Russell Heldt, Ted Kenney, and Ken Chien. 

The reality series shifted to Facebook Watch after launching on MTV starting from 1992-2017 and was applauded in its initial years for portraying topics of concurrent young-adulthood related to its audience- lovemaking, discrimination, belief, abortion, ailment, sexuality, AIDS, demise, politics etc but soon afterwards it gained a lot of attention for immaturity and erratic behaviour. 

The series has so far developed two significant identical series, both published by MTV: Road Rules from 1995 to 2007 for fourteen seasons and the current spin-off reality show “The Challenge,” which aired for thirty-five seasons since 1998, exceeding “The Real World” series. 

Let’s find out below whether or not the reality series will be back for the thirty-fourth season but it looks like the future seems very much uncertain for now. 

Release date of The Real World season 34: When is it?

It’s been over two years since we last heard anything from the show makers and we’re not exactly sure why there is no update till now but we suspect that the reality series might have ended for good. On the Wikipedia page, the original release has mentioned two dates that are from May 21, 1992, to August 29, 2019, which are the air date of the first episode and the air date of the last episode indicating that the show has indeed wrapped. But neither is confirmed by Facebook whether the show is returning with the 34th season or not.

However, on the off chance that the show returns, we’d likely get to see the new season by 2023. Until let’s wait for further announcement from the show makers.

The cast of The Real World season 34: Who’s in it?

In the thirty-third season of The Real World, it starred seven participants consisting of both males and females in their 20s each maintaining their diverse background and a different tale to share. The cast members from the thirty-third season include Arely Avitua, Justin Blu, Clint Wright, Yasmin Almokhamad, Dondre Randolph, and Tovah Marx. 

If ever a thirty-fourth season of The Real World happens, the viewers will be introduced to a new batch of participants. It’s unlikely that the old faces will be back since it’s a reality show, the makers of the show would want to cast new people to tell their stories.

The Real World Plot season 34: What to expect?

The Real World has certain rules to be obeyed by the housemates. They are not allowed to have any physical fights, once they break the rules, they’ll be either ousted from the show or allowed to stay based on the ruling of the other housemates.

Furthermore, the participants are instructed to go through drug tests, and if anyone is caught, that person is instantly dismissed from the show. The fun part is when the show progresses, the ex-flames and rivals of the housemates are invited to move in, with the intent of compelling the housemates to confront their painful past and face challenges. 

The thirty-third season of The Real World took place in Atlanta where it tries to incorporate social media exchange and digital allotment to concentrate more on cultural, social, and political discussions. 

As for the 34th season, the exact plot is not known but we assume that it will follow the same pattern and will probably be filmed in a new location.
