The Crow is based on the 1989 comic book by James O’Barr, which tells the story of Eric Draven, a man who is brought back from the dead to avenge the murders of his girlfriend and himself. The original film, released in 1994, starred Brandon Lee and was a critical and commercial success.
I’m so excited about this reboot! I’ve been a fan of The Crow since I was a kid, and I think Bill Skarsgård is the perfect actor to play Eric Draven. He has the perfect mix of darkness and vulnerability that the character needs.
I’m also excited about the creative team behind the film. Rupert Sanders is a talented director who has a great eye for visuals, and Zach Baylin is a rising screenwriter who has written some great films recently.
I think this reboot has the potential to be something really special. It’s a dark and gritty story, but it’s also a story about hope and redemption. I can’t wait to see how Sanders and Baylin bring it to life.
The Crow is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2024. I’m definitely marking my calendar for that one!
