From the creator, Julia Pott, Summer Camp Island is a one-of-a-kind animated television series that opens up a world of magic and possibilities for us. The series made its debut in July 2018 on Cartoon Network, and since then, has spawned four more seasons. With its last season already airing, fans globally are earnestly waiting for its future episodes. Fortunately, the series does have the sixth installment on the card that will be out sooner than later. It is also confirmed that the sixth part will mark the end of this brilliant series. Viewers are not thrilled to hear this news and have started social media campaigns to at least produce two additional seasons after its final season. However, Pott has announced that the series production has wrapped up and she has decided to take time off and work on a children’s book. Although this is not how it should have ended, we still have a lot to look forward to in season six of Summer Camp Island. Julia Pott took to Instagram to announce her temporary departure from the animation industry. She posted a picture of Hedgehog with a long caption, “tomorrow is my last day on Summer Camp Island! It’s been one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I made some BFF level friends.
I could not have dreamed of a better crew, they made the show what it is and I feel unfathomably lucky to have been able to collaborate with all of them. Because of the lengthiness of animation production, there are more episodes still to be released on HBO MAX, and they are absolute corkers. Moving forward I’m excited to try my hand at writing children’s books, collaborating with friends, and napping. I’ll be here if you need me. Check the post here. Fans will surely remember her for how she changed our perspective towards many things through her masterpiece series, Summer Camp Island.
