The series is an American psychological thriller television series. Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble have developed the series. The series intrigued the audience with its gripping storyline. Warner Horizon Television produces the series in association with Alloy Entertainment and A&E studios. The previous two seasons earned much fame from the audience. You season 3: Release Date
After much delay, ‘YOU’ Season 3 is finally set to premiere on October 15, 2021. The third season will be available to stream on Netflix.

The first season of You was released in 2018. The series streamed on Netflix internationally on December 26, 2018. The second season was released on Netflix on December 26, 2019. In January 2020, the series was renewed for a season 3 by Netflix. The filming for season 3 already began in November 2020 but was put on hold due to the Covid-19 surge.
You season 3: Cast
‘You’ featured Penn Badgley and Elizabeth Lail. Penn Badgley essayed the role of Joe Goldberg, a former bookstore manager at Mooney’s. Elizabeth Lail essayed the role of Guinevere Bec, Luca Padovan as Paco, Zach Cherry as Ethan. The other cast included Shay Mitchell as Peach Salinger, Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn, Jenna Ortega as Ellie Alves, Ambyr Childers as Candace Stone, and Carmela Zumbado as Delilah Alves.
The new season 3 will have Penn Badgley reprising the lead role as Joe Goldberg and Victoria Pedretti as his girlfriend, Love Quinn. The additional character would be Michaela McManus, who would be essaying Joe’s mysterious new neighbor Natalie. Netflix also confirmed that new cast members including Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, Saffron Burrows as Love’s mother Dottie, Dylan Arnold as Theo, Tati Gabrielle as Marienne, Shannon Chan-ent as Kiki, Ben Mehl as Dante, Chri O’Shea as Andrew, Christopher Sean as Brandon, Bryan Safi as Jackson, Mackenzie Astin as Gl, Ayelet Zurer as Dr. Chandra, Jack Fisher as young Joe Goldberg and Mauricio Lara as his friend Paulie.
You season 3: Plot
The first season follows the story of Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager in New York City. He happens to meet with Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer, and becomes infatuated with her. He feeds his obsession using social media and technology to track her whereabouts and remove obstacles in their romance.
The second season showed Joe moving from New York to Los Angeles to escape his past. He starts with a new identity. He meets avid chef Love Quinn and falls for her. He uses his old obsession patterns to forge a new love in Los Angeles. He tries to make his relationship with Love work at any cost. The second season ended with a big revelation of Joe’s girlfriend Love revealing that she has been onto him and has known his dark secret for long. She takes two steps ahead of the protagonist and reveals that she manipulated him to fall in love with her. Joe also learns that Love is pregnant with his child. The two move into a new house where Joe falls for his new neighbor Natalie and uses his old pattern to lure her. Season 2 will pick up from where season 2 left. Season 3 would showcase Love’s violent and manipulative inclinations. It would be interesting to watch both killers living together and becoming parents.
