The biggest metal booking on Toronto’s 2027 calendar is now an actual purchase. Live Nation Ontario confirmed the general on-sale for Slipknot at Rogers Stadium, July 23, 2027, with Bring Me the Horizon and Kublai Khan TX opening — the fifth date on the band’s globe-crossing (sic)est Stadium Tour.
It lands in the meat of a North American run that reads like a ballpark tour of the continent: Nationals Park in Washington on July 16, Citi Field in Queens on July 18, Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau on July 21, then Toronto. Soldier Field, Fenway Park, Chase Field and SoFi Stadium follow in August.
The whole trek is 19 dates across three continents, opening July 3, 2027 at Wembley Stadium — billed as the band’s only UK and Europe show — and closing Sept. 16 in Bogotá. Live Nation’s press materials promise a brand-new set, new staging and a set list that reaches back across the career. Presales ran through the week, with the general on-sale landing Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
Rogers Stadium is the interesting part of the routing. Toronto’s purpose-built outdoor venue at 81 YZD Lane opened in summer 2025 and has spent its young life hosting pop residencies and legacy rock acts. Handing it to a nine-piece whose live show leans on pyro and hydraulic staging is a different order of booking for the Downsview site.
Slipknot arrive with something new to play, too. “Arsenal,” released Sept. 9, was the Iowa band’s first new music in more than three years and the first studio track with drummer Eloy Casagrande, who joined in 2024 after the departures of sampler Craig Jones and turntablist Sid Wilson. Guitarist Jim Root has said the song isn’t tied to an album cycle, describing it as simply one they could finish sooner.
Canada gets two shots at the tour. Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau show on July 21 adds Vended to the bill alongside Bring Me the Horizon and Kublai Khan TX; the Toronto date carries the two openers only. Resale get-ins on the U.S. leg sit around $85 in Washington and $110 in Nashville, according to early market listings.
Wembley opens the run on July 3. Toronto is date five — 20 days, one continent and roughly 294 days of waiting later.
