Australian wildlife star and Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) Season 34 contestant Robert Irwin, 21, is on a heartfelt hunt for love. In a recent interview after the September 23 episode, Irwin revealed he’s single and seeking an “American girl” with genuine kindness.
“I think more than anything else, just genuine kindness,” Irwin told E! News. “That’s so important, to surround yourself with kind people.” With his life a “whirlwind adventure,” he hopes to share “those little moments” with someone matching his energy, inspired by “couple goals” role models. “It can’t be rushed—it just has to happen,” he added, confident “she’s out there.”
His dance partner, Witney Carson, joined the fun, joking, “Submit applications via DM, and I’ll send them to Bindi!”—referring to Irwin’s sister, Bindi Irwin. Irwin laughed, calling Carson “another protective older sister,” a role Bindi, a 2015 DWTS winner, already plays, encouraging him to take risks.
Amid DWTS’s mental challenges—”your body moves in constant opposition with a partner,” he noted, calling it “the closest you’ll ever come to flying”—Irwin also honored his late father, Steve Irwin. “Dad would be stoked. I hope to make him proud,” he said, linking his journey to the Irwin legacy.
Fans on X are buzzing with support and playful “applications,” boosting Season 34’s charm. Irwin’s quest adds a romantic twist, proving DWTS is about more than dance—it’s about life’s connections.
