Are chapter 4 start up cancelled or will it be renewed with one more exciting season? When will Crackle release start up season 4 after all?
Well, now that the first, freaking awesome chapter is over, fans are enthusiastically waiting for the arrival of its brand new season. Furthermore, the series left fans with multiple cliffhangers, so we did expect a possible season 4. In this post, we bring you all the details including the release date, cast and more details.
All About StartUp?
Following its debut in September 2016, StartUp was renewed for two more seasons which premiered in 2018. The American drama series follows the story of Ronald Dacey, Izzy Morales, and Nick Talman with a tech company, Araknet which trades in a new form of digital currency, GenCoin. This concept is innovative and equally a matter of controversy. Since its last episode aired in 2019, fans await the news of its fourth installment. However, unfortunately, there is no word about it yet. Now fans have hopes on Netflix, the streaming platform which premiered all its three seasons recently. But has the streaming giant planned the renewal of chapter four or it has other plans? Here’s everything to know about Startup Season 4:
StartUp Season 4 has been canceled!
StartUp’s first season debuted on September 6, 2016, while the second and third seasons followed on September 28 and November 1, 2017 and 2018, respectively.
Unfortunately, the show was officially canceled when the third season debuted in November 2018. Over three years later, the original network is considering renewing the show.
According to Bill Rouhana, CEO of Crackle’s parent company, who made the announcement back in July, the show’s producers have been contacted about the prospect of a fourth season, but the show remains canceled. We’ll update this space in case of any potential information—do watch out for more updates.
Start Up Season 4: Plot twists
The third installment ended with an unexpected series of events. While Ronald Dacey and Mara Chandler succeeded in raising funds of 100 million from Saginaw, a mysterious virus made them lose 60 million users. This led to a scuffle between the investors and the company. In the last episode, Nick Talman murdered Rebecca Stroud, the which further escalated the tension between the three partners. Surprisingly, the victim revealed that she is not part of the NSA before she meets death. Season 4 will come up with new twists and turns, with Izzy, Ronald, and Nick coming together as a team to think of ways to build Aratech again. This time, several external threats are coming their way including government interference and underworld danger. The founders of the company need to safeguard their interests simultaneously, which might result in an internal conflict.
In addition, Mara, the daughter of Ron, has some unidentified intentions which will be revealed in the fourth installment. However, the series has been canceled, it would be of no use to talk about the plot.

Season 4 was canceled bt the makers. If anytime it continues, we will see the return of the story’s core characters- Nick, Izzy, and Ronald. Will Season 4 of Startup ever happen?
Fans of the show were curious to know if Startup season 4 is ever happening. It’s been over two years since the last episode aired and till now the show has neither been renewed or cancelled.
As of now, the future seems uncertain and fans have been earnestly demanding another season on various social media platforms. Could it be that the show is over for good?
In May 2021, Edi Gathegi who plays as Ronald Dacey shared a post that captioned “Fans of StartUp time to introduce more fans to the show. Seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix. If it blows up, who knows, more seasons?Internet does your thing.” You can check the tweet below:
Also, considering the fact the show is neither renewed nor cancelled which might somehow indicate that maybe there is a room for a possible new season? If enthusiastic fans keep on pleading to the showrunner, who knows things might just take a new turn.
In June 2021, Gathegi posted on Instagram to which he was requesting fans to spread the word and that anything is possible. Just like the fans, he too doesn’t want the show to end with just season 3. Here’s the post:
